drip method

I was in my garage today just having a look around at some of the things in the workshop area in the back and noticed that there are still several partial cans of house paint on the the frozen shelves. I grimmaced as I thought of what I would find the next time I would open those cans in hopes of one more use. Visions of cottage cheese came to mind. What I should have done, if not being responsible and putting them in the warmth of the house somewhere, was to pretend for a moment to be a famous painter such as Jackson Pollock and created something worth staring at and interpreting.

Ah well...there are other outlets for the drip method if one so desires. And there's always next year to be more responsible.

respite

There are times when it's nice when you don't know where the time's gone. It usually means that you've been enjoying yourself. Sunday afternoon was one of those times. Disappointment comes when the first person stands up and suddenly realizes that it's late and they have to go. You know the party's over then 'cause we all have been pleasantly distracted from regular life and realize that the respite is over. One almost has to shake the dreamy feeling out of the belfry. Better to have dreams than bats, I say.
